What access does Ascent need?

A read-only App Store Connect API key with the Sales and Reports role. Replying to reviews also needs the Customer Support role, which you can add later.

When does the digest arrive?

At 7:00 AM in the time zone you pick: ET, CT, MT, PT, Alaska or Hawaii. Apple's reports land overnight, so the numbers cover the whole previous day.

Does it work with subscription apps?

Yes. Indie and Studio show trials, conversions, renewals and refunds by plan and by week, straight from Apple's subscription reports.

Can I track apps I don't own?

Keyword ranks work for any app on the US App Store, so you can follow a competitor. Downloads and proceeds only appear for apps on your account.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Export every report as CSV first. We delete your API key the moment you disconnect and remove stored reports after 30 days.

Is there a student discount?

Students and apps under $1,000 in yearly proceeds get Indie for $6 a month. Write to us from your school address.
